Time's running too fast. I can't really take in the fact that I'm already a 2nd year college student who just finished his 1st semester for the A.Y. It's fast.
So far, I have approximately 35 minutes until the deadline of my last academic workload for this semester: A machine problem for my ChE 26 (Chem Eng'g) class. It's all about coding and I've already finished 4 out of 6 problems. The other two are just that intimidating. I finished one, but it isn't perfect. The code doesn't work for values greater than 20,000. This is bad since the test cases range from 0 to 1,000,000,000. Anyway, at least I have 2 group mates who have been working hard since the weekends last week as well as that my batchmates are that nice to give us hints/clues on what to do and how to do it.
So, how was my sem? I'll break it down in bullet form, per class.
ChE 26 - So it's basically programming. I wasn't that good at it, and it didn't help that I wasn't at all interested in the subject. My current standing is just above passing, which is good, so I think I'll manage to scrape a 2.25 or 2.50, if I'm lucky. Since I'm not that good at programming, I'm dead once I've reached higher ChE courses. Seeing my orgmates' statuses about machine problems that have 200+ lines and debugging scares me.
Physics 72 - According to most people, this is the hardest Physics course among the 70-series. Well, I beg to differ. I found 72 much easier and more interesting than 71. 72 deals with electricity, magnetism and optics while 71 deals with the basics of Physics, motion, waves, vectors, etc. A lot of upperclassmen have been saying that they hated 72 since it was hard, but it wasn't. I'll actually miss it. So, since I found the course exciting, I was exempted from the Finals and got a pre-final grade of 1.75 or 79.76%, which is 0.24% from 80 and its corresponding grade, 1.50. Though I know my prof won't curve, I hope he does.
Chem 28 - I had fun with this lecture class. I won't say I'll miss it, but I also won't say I'm glad to be done with it. It was just right :)
Chem 28.1 - Almost the same as Chem 28. This laboratory class was just right. I'll just miss the experiments though. So far, best set of experiments that we've done.
Geog 1/ AP 12 - Both were just... ugh. Geog 1, which was supposedly one of the best GE classes there is, wasn't that much fun. No Geog Camp and the tests were.. gah. AP 12 was just the same. It was gah. I'm just hoping I'll scrape a 3.00 on both.
Physics 72.1 - Same with 72. This Physics laboratory course was just fun. I enjoyed every meeting and every paper was fun to do. (HAHAHA can't believe I've enjoyed typing papers) I hope 73.1 would be just as fun as this one.
So for next sem, I'll finally be begin learning what Chemical Engineering is all about with ChE 101, which is basically the introduction to the basics of Chem Eng'g. Knowing that most of my orgmates who already finished 101 found it hard, I'm pretty scared. I'll consider it as my turning point, if ever. If I find the course hard, then I'll shift. If I enjoy it however, regardless of whatever grade I'll get, then I'll continue on. 20 minutes more and it's officially my sembreak. Can't wait.

I LOVE KEM! I'm super happy that I've never stopped giving up even though it was hard :) It was all worth it :) KEM GO FIGHT!
Aside from that, I've received two grades already :D Chem 17 - 2.25 (I'm annoyed by this. According to my calculations, 2.00 ako. Still, 2.25 is a good grade considering that the standards were high) and Soc Sci II - 2.25 (SUPER HAPPY. I was expecting 2.75 or 3)
